Bio from Contributor Sam Sproles: Ruth was known to friends as "Baby Doll". Before marrying Wm. Earl Lewis she was married to a Mr. Green and they had a daughter, Jeanne. Earl and Ruth had no children. Ruth had lived in Eastland for 46 years. She was employed at the Lone Star Gas Company of Eastland for 25 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Eastland. Additional bio from Contributor BrendaG: The 1940 Census shows Ruth living with her parents in Eastland County. The Census also shows Betty Greene (age 7, born in Texas) also living at the residence. Betty was identified as the granddaughter of Wallace and Maud Bagley.
