STONE, Martha Louise - Of Burton, age 89, died Monday, July 21, 2008 at Brian's House of Davison. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Eastgate Baptist Church, 4226 East Atherton Road, Burton, Reverend Kevin Knox officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Owosso, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brian's House of Davison. Visitation 4-8PM Tuesday, 11AM-3PM and 5-8PM Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mrs. Stone will be at the church from 10AM Thursday until the time of the service. Martha was born in Jackson, Missouri on September 29, 1918, the daughter of John and Louise (Draper) Firestone. On April 27, 1940 she married Robert Lee Stone in Bancroft, Michigan. She attended South Baptist Temple. Surviving are sons, Gary L. (Ginger) Stone of Durand, Michigan, Ronald G. (Fredia) Stone of Shreveport, Louisiana and Rick J. (Sandy) Stone of Burton; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; many nieces and nephews; sister, Vivian Horcha of Swartz Creek. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Stone; daughter, Charna Beth Stone; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
