Bio

John H. Firestone died 17 May 1919, at Jackson, Missouri, of heart failure, and was buried at Jackson, Missouri. He did not return for supper after going to put his cow in the pasture. He was born 28 Jan 1882, in Anna, the oldest son of Alfred Anderson Firestone, of Jackson, Missouri. He used to be employed at Jonesboro electric light plant when his father was the manager. They moved to Jackson to take charge of the light plant there. He left a widow, two sons, two daughters, five sisters, Carrie Perry, of Brownville, Tennessee, Onie Dollar, of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mary Firestone, of Ossawatomie, Kansas, Addie Firestone, and Susie Firestone, of home; and one brother, Tonie Firestone, of home.
