Bio

Gertie was raised in McKinney, TX. She moved to Thomas community in Union Co., NM in 1908. Her first marriage was to Dudley Rountree in 1893. He preceded her in death in 1923. Her second marriage was to J.E. Brane on February 2, 1927, Clayton, Union, NM. She is survived by 2 daughters: Mrs. Lelia Crossett, Amarillo, TX and Mrs. Ressie McCarley, Clayton, NM.
