"MERCER, Mo. -- Claude Miller, 91, died Monday, July 6, 1987, at a health care center in Bethany, Mo. He was born in Farnam, Neb., and had lived in Mercer, Mo., since 1972. He had formerly farmed in Tina, Mo., until retiring in 1972. He married Mabel Huston on May 6, 1918, in Stockville, Neb. She survives him of the home. Additional survivors are four sons, Bill of Mercer, Mo., James of Omaha, Neb., Walter of Ralston, Neb., and Keith of Belleview, Neb.; three daughters, Dorothy Wilson of Mercer, Ruth Huseby of Belleview, and Helen Pietryzk of Madison, Wis.; two brothers, Dean Miller of Topeka, Kan., and Hugh Miller of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Dora Foss of Elwood, Neb.; 34 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Home in Princeton, Mo. Burial will be in the Early Cemetery at Mercer." St Joseph Gazette (St Joseph, Missouri), July 7, 1987
