Vince Lesikar Born in Cermna, Bohemia at House #389. "Vince Lesikar, 83, native of Czechoslovakia, died at his home in west Cameron at 10 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 1942. Mr. Lesikar was born in September 28, 1858. When a small boy he came to the United States. He had lived in Milam county for many years and had lived in Cameron for about 12 years. Funeral services for the aged pioneer will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday from the Marek-Burns Funeral Home with interment in Oak Hill cemetery. The body will be at the family residence until time for the funeral hour on Tuesday with the Marek-Burns Funeral Home directing arrangements. Mr. Lesikar is survived by his widow, Mrs. Katherine Lesikar, 2 sons and 2 daughters as follows: Will Lesikar and Miss Frances Lesikar of Buckholts, Vince Lesikar and Mary Lesikar of Cameron. He is also survived by one sister Rosalie Macah of Buckholts and several grandchildren." The Cameron Herald (Cameron, Texas). March 26, 1942.
