James Edwin Smith Obituary Hattiesburg, MS Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Hartfield-Pine Ridge Cemetery for James Edwin Smith, 89, of Hattiesburg, MS formerly of Purvis, MS. He died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Smith was a retired professional truck driver and member of Coaltown Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, Patrick H. Smith and James E. Smith. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Smith of Hattiesburg; three sons, Crawford Smith of Charlotte, NC, Steven S.
