Mrs. Shirley Ann (Lee) Pugh, Upchurch, age 76, of Jackson, Ms passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. She was born in Laurel, Ms on April 28, 1940 to Mr. James Edward Lee and Mrs. Mary Estell Lee. Shirley was a seamstress from the Industry for the Blind in Jackson and was devoted to her family. She is preceded in death by her former husbands, Bobby Pugh and Robert T. Upchurch; daughter, Mary Margaret Pugh; nephew, Gary Keith Lee; two brothers and four sisters. Shirley is survived by her loving sister and brother-in-law, Polly and Jerry Lee of Pascagoula; two nieces and three nephews, Susan Harris (Terry), Thea Lee, Mark Lee (Rene) Bill Welch (Barbara), and Wendell Bettis; local great-nephews that assisted with her care, Jeremy Lee, Jason Lee, and Blake Kelley. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2016, 5:00-7:00pm. Graveside service will be Thursday, May 12, 2016, 12 noon at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of your choice.
