Bio

LaRue Wood Leatham passed away February 29, 2016 in Midvale, Salt Lake County, Utah. She was born October 11, 1921 in Springville, Utah County, Utah to James Corbridge Wood and Minetta Adeline Walton Wood. She attended Bountiful Junior High in Bountiful, Utah, Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah, and then graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. LaRue married Fredrick Richard Gardina, September 20, 1940, they later divorced and Fredrick preceded LaRue in death. She married Eldon Norgren Leatham on July 20, 1976. Eldon preceded LaRue in death on July 19, 1984. She retired after 15 years working in the cartography (map making) section in the new 28 story Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints office building in Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoyed her work immensely and also loved nature and traveling.
