Marjorie M. “Marge” Golus, 84, of Ord passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016, at the CHI Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord. Father Josh Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Marjorie Mae was born on September 12, 1931, at Omaha, Nebraska to Brun and Anna (Wegrzyn) Orent. In 1947, her family moved from Omaha to Loup City where Marge graduated from Loup City High School. On March 24, 1955, she was united in marriage to Leonard Golus at Grand Island, Nebraska. Mr. Golus served in the United State Air Force from 1951-1971. During that time the family was stationed in various places. In 1971, they moved to North Loup where they farmed until 1978, and moved to Ord in 1984. Marge made her home in Ord until her passing. She had worked at Ord Glass and Paint and currently was a volunteer at the Second Hand Rose and Valley County Museum. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Steve Todsen of Ord; a grandson and his wife, David and Jenae Dulitz of North Loup; a great-granddaughter, Ashle Dulitz of North Loup and a step-granddaughter, Molly Todsen of Ord. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard; grandson, Eric Dulitz and a brother, Laverne Orent.
