Julius Stehr HEREFORD - Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Hereford for Julius Theodore Stehr, who died Sunday at High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo, following a long illness. Mr. Stehr was 63. Officiant will be the Rev. Herman Schelter, pastor. Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Dimmitt by Gililland-Walton Funeral Home of Hereford. A native of Oklahoma, Mr. Stehr was a long-time resident of Castro County, and moved to Hereford in August of this year. He was married in 1974 to Mrs. Ella Drager. In addition to the widow, he is survived by a son, Cecil, of Hutchinson, Kan.; two daughters: Mrs. Cecilia Schueler of Friona and Mrs. Sarah Davenport of Jacksonville, Tex.; a stepson, Earl Drager of Hereford; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Thomas of Hereford; six brothers: Martin of Willow, Okla., Jake and Rubin of Del City, Okla., Carl of Norman, Okla., Adell of Noble, Okla., and Emil of Oklahoma; two sisters: Mrs. C. Sanders of Oklahoma City and Mrs. George Carton of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and 12 grandchildren.
