Audrey Pearl Phillips Copeland was born 22 Jul 1916, Hillsboro, TX. She was the daughter of Samuel and Lucy (Perkins) Phillips. She was married to her 2nd husband Lonie Francis Copeland on 22 Jul 1947, Texas. He passed away Aug 1972, Spur, TX. She had four sons(Charlie, Bill, Jack and Richard with her first husband(Scoggins).With her husband Lonie, they had one daughter(Patricia) and two sons(Lonnie R. and Danny Joe)( I am blessed to be married to Danny Joe since 1979). She was a woman with a HUGE heart. She was everybodies momma and grandma. In the 10 years I was blessed to have her in my life, I never once saw her angry with anyone, sometimes flustered but never angry. She took me in under her wing and taught me so much about life and great southern cooking...Gosh I miss her so much... She would always say, "tough times are going to come and go, but tough people remain". ///to be continued...
