Alta was a resident of Wright, Kansas, at the time of her death. The earliest located record of Alta was the 1950 census when she was 5 years old living in Lamesa, Dawson, Texas, with her parents and three siblings. Alta was the next to youngest of a large family. She was also recorded living in the towns of Geronimo and Seguin, (Guadalupe County), Texas. Note: Last name is actually Burroughs with an s on the end but has been edited to appear as Burrough in accordance with Find A Grave policy of entering the last name as spelled on grave marker.
