Bio

Reba Fox, 81, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, January 30, 2005, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Don Snipes, pastor of Baptist Temple Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on September 12, 1923, in West, Texas and married Comer Fox on September 12, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1993. Mrs. Fox had lived in Big Spring since the early 1980's. She had worked at nursing homes and as a grocery clerk. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Batie of Big Spring and Jesse Batie of Tularosa, New Mexico; two daughters, Elizabeth Holt of Rockford, Illinois and Gayla Sue Batie of Lubbock; two sisters, Alta Faye and Anna Marie; two brothers, E. C. Loftin and R. F. Loftin; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
