Bio
Son of Peter & Anastasia (Furtak) Bartusiak. Attended school at Fort Hartsuff. Married: April 3, 1931, to Josephine Kaslon in Ashton; she died May 1, 1952. Married: 1954, to LeNora Cafferty in Nevada; she died in 1975. Married: 1977, to Linda Slater in Las Vegas. Was a mechanic in the Chevrolet garage in Ord; moved to Manitou Springs, Col., and worked at Fort Carson, Colo., during World War II as a mechanic; moved to Renton, Wash., owned a grocery store; returned to Nebraska in the mid-1940s, owned a mechanic shop; owned Little USA Service Station west of Kearney in the 1970s. Activities: member of Travelers Protective Association; enjoyed traveling, carpentry and tinkering. Survivors include his wife: son, Ray of Littleton, Colo.: daughter, Arlene Buchanan of Seattle; five grandchildren: and seven greatgrandchildren. Was preceded in death by his first two wives; five brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.
