Avalea Gunn BIG SPRING Avalea Gunn, 86, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999, in a local hospital. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today in Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 23, 1912, in Coleman and had been a resident of Big Spring since 1950. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Wash and Vonnie Hopper, both of Big Spring; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
