Bio
Lillie Zajicek 98, of Copperas Cove and formerly of Buckholts died Thursday, April 21, 2016 in a Copperas Cove assisted living facility. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Gary Kleypas officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-6:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Zajieck was born February 8, 1918 in Ben Arnold to Emil and Olga Roesler. She married Joe Zajicek on September 19, 1936 and he preceded her in death in 2007. She and her husband owned and operated several businesses in the Buckholts area for many years. She had also worked for Montgomery Wards for many years. She was also preceded in death by her brother Walter Roesler and daughter-in-law, Bennie Marie. She is survived by: Sons Joe Dean Zajicek & wife Bernice of Waco Walter Zajicek of Bryan Jackie Zajicek & wife Suszanne of Copperas Cove 4 grandchildren: David Zajicek & wife Leah, Gregory Zajicek & wife Lorraine, Gene Zajicek & wife Jana, and Tracy Allen 9 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren Obit From Marek Burns Laywell F.
