Funeral services for Roy Dean Graham 67, Athens have been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 20, 2016 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. T.L. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens. Roy passed away Monday April 18, 2016 in Athens. Roy was born October 4, 1948 in Plainview, Texas the son of Parker Eugene Graham and Huertha Ruth Hughes Graham. He was a Baptist and attended First Missionary Baptist Church in Mabank. Roy loved the outdoors, camping and fishing and hunting. He loved ATV’s. He loved his God, family and freedom of the U.S.A. Roy retired from the Athens Police Department in 2003 after 26 years in law enforcement. He was preceded in death by his mother, Huertha Ruth Graham in 2015, brother; Troy Gene Graham in 2014 and sister; Ruthie Ann Mallett in 2013. Survivors include his wife of 27 years Judy Graham, Athens, sons; Ricky Dwayne Graham and wife Donna, Gun Barrel City, Robert Dean Graham, Houston, father; Parker Eugene Graham, Balch Springs, grandchildren; Bailey Ann Graham and William Andrew Graham both of Gun Barrel City, sister; Cyndi Freeman and husband Perry, Mesquite, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Bill Frizzell, Tommy Frizzell, Dennis McMath, Buddy Hill, Ray Nutt and James ”Bubba” Martin.
