ORD -- Carol S. Bruha, 43, of Ord passed on Friday, April 15, 2016, at the Valley View Senior Village in Ord. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord. The Rev. Mark Maresh will officiate. Burial will be in the Geranium Cemetery west of Ord. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Carol Susan was born Oct. 16, 1972, at Ord to Edward O. and Marlion L. (Konkoleski) Bruha. She grew up in the Geranium Township of Valley County and received her education at Ord, graduating from Ord High School in 1993. Carol was a resident of Mid Nebraska Individual Services for 23 years and worked in their workshop. For the past two months she has made her home at the Valley View Senior Village. Carol was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Trying Our Best 4-H Club. She enjoyed listening to polka music, writing, dancing and interacting with her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her parents, Edward O. and Marlion Bruha of Ord; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve Bruha of North Loup, Martin and Jolene Bruha of Burwell, Anthony and Cathy Bruha of Comstock and James and Michelle Bruha of Ord; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Darrell Fischer of Burwell, Joann and Tim Laible of Atkinson, Janet and Dave Setlik of Ord, Ann and Ed Hajek of Odell and Mary Wagner of Cairo; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul E. Bruha, and her grandparents, Lloyd and Velma Konkoleski and Otto and Helen Bruha.
