Glenda Heath Sears, 57, formerly of Valley Mills, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the First Baptist Church in Valley Mills. Interment will be in Valley Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Friday at Foss Funeral Home. Glenda was born in Clifton, Texas, to the late Dennis and Altarita (Jaynes) Heath. She was a 1967 graduate of Valley Mills High School and a 1975 graduate of Texas Women's University. She married George Sears on Dec. 13, 1975. They had lived in Indianapolis since 1981. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, George; son, Erik Sears and wife, Maggie; granddaughter, Josephine; daughter, Courtney Nichols and husband, Aaron; granddaughters, Savannah and Danica; son, Joshua Sears; sisters, Dorothy Martin and Ginger Albrecht; brother, Donald Heath; other relatives and many friends.
