Bio
Donn R. Heath, 77, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013. Donnie was born in Patton,TX. in the home of his grandparents W.C. And Nannie Potts Jaynes. He was baptized in the Baptist Church while growing up in Valley Mills. He went to Valley Mills Schools. He received his degree from Draughns Business School in Fort Worth. He served six years in the National Guard. Donnie worked at Rocketdyne in McGregor before settling in Fort Worth to work for Champlin Oil Company and later opening Donn Heath Gun Store which became his profession until his death. Someone told him when he opened his Gun store that it would catch the eye to do the spelling the way he did. In 1960 Donnie married Sheila Higginbotham of Valley Mills with this union they had two daughters Melissa and Michelle. Sheila passed way in March 1982 and Donnie married Judy in 1985 Service: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Survivors: Wife, Judy Heath; daughters, Melissa Williams and Michelle Long and husband, Bill; stepson, Rick Does and wife, Paula; stepdaughter, Michelle Clynch and husband, Chris; eight grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Lucy.
