Bio

"J.B." also called "Junior" was born on September 21, 1914 in Santa Rosa (later Okaloosa) County, Florida. He was in the U.S. Navy at the time he and Evelyn Underhill married. I believe he was stationed in San Diego, California at the time of their meeting. Evelyn and Junior were married on July 23, 1942. Evelyn and Junior settled in Crestview, Okaloosa County, Florida once he resigned from the Navy. They had no children of their own. However, Junior married Jean Francis Willis after Evelyn's death and had children with her. He died on April 6, 1985 in Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida. He is buried in the Carr family plot of the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery, along with his wives, Evelyn and Jean, and his parents, among others.
