Mrs. Womack, 64, Dies in Roscoe; Rites Tuesday Roscoe - Mrs. Maggie Mulvina Womack, 64, died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday in her home after an illness of several years. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Lewis Markwood will officiate. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery under direction of Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Womack was born Jan. 9, 1902 in Quitman and moved to Nolan County in 1930. She was a resident of Divide until moving to Roscoe in 1948. She married Walter Womack in Yantis, Texas on July 9, 1919 and was a member of the Roscoe Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband; one son, David Clyde of Ropesville; a daughter, Mrs. Verna Womack Bivins of Santa Anna, Calif.; two brothers, Arnold Allen of Sweetwater and Billy Allen of Yantis; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Linder of Albuquerque, N.M.; her step-mother, Mrs. Alice Allen of Quitman; four step-brothers, two step-sisters and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers are Elton (Salty) Barton and Hyde, both of Divide, Warren Barton of Sweetwater, Jess Smith, Woodrow Smith and Glenn Pitts of Roscoe.
