Married Walter Witherspoon in Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas, on 24 March 1903. * * * * * * * Sisters Notified of Death of Sister On Tuesday afternoon, Mesdames O. D. and J. E. Witherspoon and Mrs. Sam Sanders received a message from Roscoe announcing the death of their brother's wife, Mrs. Walter Witherspoon, which occurred very suddenly at the family home in Roscoe about two o'clock. Just a short time before the death message, they had been notified of her illness, and Mrs. R. R. Duvall of Midlothian, another sister of Mr. Witherspoon, and her husband came to this city at once and Mr. Duvall took the sisters to Roscoe, leaving here early Tuesday evening.
