Tommie Doyle Bennett Tommie Doyle Bennett, 68, of Lubbock and a former resident of Sweetwater, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, in Lubbock. Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, in the Roscoe Cemetery with Denny Sneed officiating. Services were under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Roscoe. Mr. Bennett was born on July 2, 1937, in Roscoe. He lived in Lubbock since 1972. Survivors include two sisters, Jeannine Stewart of Roscoe and Fredda Mae Autrey of Shelbyville; and one brother, Orion Bennett of Colorado Springs, Colo.
