Sharron Jo Peters Hagerud, 75, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 30, 2016, in Dallas. She was born on Oct. 26, 1940, in North Platte, Nebraska to the late Francis Carlton and Linda Margaret McMurtry Peters. Sharron graduated from St. Pat’s High School in North Platte. She worked as an office manager at Academy of Homes in Marshall and also at Squibb Taylor in Dallas for many years. Sharron spent most of her years in the East Texas and Dallas area and was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bruce Edward Powell; father of her children, Thad E. Powell; one sister; and two brothers.
