Bio

Glenn Evans Glenn Evans, 77, Summerville Rte. 2, Spring Creek community, died Sunday morning in Chattooga County Hospital. Mr. Evans was born in Marion County, Ala., on Aug. 4, 1910, son of the late John and Zeoma Green Evans. He was a retired steel worker and a member of Pennville First Baptist Church. His wife, Dorothy Evans, died earlier. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Alice Cantrell, Anniston, Ala.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewayne White officiating. Interment was in Pennville Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Bryan Evans, Brice Evans, Dallas Lacey, Ralph Howell and Bill Smith.
