Veteran of World War I, World War II, and Korean Floyd Spencer BROWN Sr.. Floyd Spencer BROWN Sr., 70, of 1745 W. Madison, died Monday at Mercy Hospital. He was a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the U. S. Army. He served for a total of 37 years in World Wars I and II, and in Korea. He was a member of John Hanson Post 43 of the American Legion. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Guadalupe H. MARTINEZ of Brownsville; two sons, Floyd S. BROWN Jr. of Houston and Calvin Lee BROWN of Brownsville; several brothers and sisters in Missouri, and 25 grandchildren. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Darling-Mouser Chapel with Brother Bob CLEMENTS officiating. Burial will be in Buena Vista Burial Park with special services by the American Legion. Darling-Mouser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
