JOHNNY RAY MILLS, age 65 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at his residence. Johnny was born on November 17, 1950 in Houston, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. He was in the construction business and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Alvin. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Grant Edwin and Ethyl Marie Mills, sons, Derek Ray Mills and John Cole Mills. Johnny is survived by his wife, Sarah Moore Mills, daughters, Marla Adrienne Van Winkle and her husband, Bill Van Winkle, Glory Mills, sons, Jason Mills and wife, Brittany Mills, Morgan Mills and wife, Natalie Mills, sister, Sheryl Cross and husband, Ronnie Cross, brother, Berry Mills, 6 beautiful grandchildren, Quentin and Violet Curtner, Alyse and Jenson Mills, the twins Grant and Johnny Mills, numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 611 West South Street, Alvin, Texas on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Visitation begins at 1:00pm with the funeral at 2:00pm.
