Herald Banner Greenvile, Texas November 21, 1999 Charles Wilkison Charles B. Wilkison, 74, of Greenville died Friday at his residence. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Reilly Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Hawbaker and Rev. Rick Tate officiating. Burial is in Reilly Springs Cemetery. Born in Hopkins County on Aug. 16, 1925, he was the son of John A. and Maggie Mae Starrett Wilkison. He married Wanda L. Wilkison in Greenville on Dec. 4, 1981. He worked at road construction with D. L. Lennon Construction. Mr. Wilkison was a former resident of Sulphur Springs, attended Reilly Springs High School and had been a resident of Greenville since 1972. Surviving are his wife, of Greenville; sons Larry Edgerton of Lubbock, Charles B. Wilkison of Liberty Hill and Kyle Grant Wilkison of South Sulphur; a daughter, Dennise Taylor of Greenville; a brother, Billy Hugh Wilkison of Cedar Hill; a sister, Nell Ryzak of Richardson; aunts, Ola Lee Heard and Christen Pickett; grandchildren, Charles B. Wilkison III, Claire Elizabeth Wilkison, Katie Jane Wilkison, Jenny Lee Padgett, J. Mitch Leathers, Blake Jarrett Taylor, Ashley Nicole Edgerton and Zakary Kaleeb Edgerton and great grandchild Jared Mathew Padgett. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers are Billy Wilkison, Mitch Leathers, Andy Nation, Mike Zimmerman and Barry Wallace. Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
