Bio
A funeral service for Billy Wilkison, age 76, of Cedar Hill, formerly of Reilly Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Dewain Mixon, Charley Wilkison and Dr. Kyle Wilkison officiating. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs Cemetery, with Charley Wilkison, Birk Wilkison, Kyle Wilkison, Mitch Leathers, W. G. White, Gerald Heard and Harold Kling serving as pallbearers. Bob Aston will be honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (1:00 p.m.) Billy Wilkison passed away at Charleton Methodist Hospital in Desoto Tuesday morning, November 20, 2012. He was born in Reilly Springs, on August 13, 1936, the son of John Archie Wilkison and Maggie May (Starrett) Wilkison. He married Nancy Joan Wilson in Dallas on June 4, 1959; she survives. He was a retired route salesman for Bordens Milk Company and he was of the Baptist faith. Other survivors include: two sons, Billy George "Teener" Wilkison and wife, Sandy of Kemp and Brian Keith Wilkison of Irving; two daughters Carol Lynn Wilkison of Cedar Hill and Dee Luann Wilkison of Irving; grandchildren, Misty Temple, Bella Stanley; great-grandchildren, Branden Matthews and Preston Temple, numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Charles Wilkison and sister, Nell Ryzak.
