E.R. 'Bobby' Polansky II Oct. 31, 1927 — April 19, 2005 Services for E.R. "Bobby" Polansky II, 77, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. Monsignors John Malinowsky and John McCaffrey will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Mr. Polansky died Tuesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. He was born in Caldwell and lived in Bryan for 70 years. He was the owner and operator of Bryan Sheet Metal Inc. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Polansky served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Polansky of Bryan; a son, E.R. Bob Polansky III of College Station; two daughters, Renee Polansky Taylor of Caldwell and Zyna Polansky of Bryan; a sister and brother-in-law, Hilda and Waldie Sosolik of The Woodlands; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
