Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent May 1978 Mrs. Mildred Fisher, 62, of 1920 W. Prospect died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gollaher Chapel in Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. F. Hauser Winter will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church, the Heart Fund or the Nebraska Children's Home. Mrs. Fisher was born Jan. 6, 1916, at Cairo, the daughter of Charles and Mattie Schlund Schultz. When she was a child the family moved to Ravenna where she grew up. On Sept. 18, 1935, she married Floyd D. Fisher in Grand Island. They farmed in the Ravenna area and later moved to Grand Island. Mrs. Fisher was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary of Ravenna; a daughter, Mrs. David (Deanna) Landell of Bloomfield; two sisters, Mrs. Alyde Dethlefs of Ravenna and Ms. Gertrude Meyer of Cairo; two half-brothers, Donald Ondrank of Phillips and Dale Ondrank of Hazard, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harold Schlund.
