Bio

Arthur Joe Cox, son of John and Bessie-Jones Cox was born May 4, 1929, the youngest of seven sons. He passed away March 5, 2016 at Mercy Healthcare Center, Springfield, MO surrounded by his family. He was married 23 years to Juanita Johnson Cox and to this union three children were born Julie Magors, Sheila Cox, and son Joey who preceded him in death in 1990. Joe is also survived by five grandchildren: Nicki Leo, Chris Cameron, Tana Laughlin & Lacie Tai, Chrystal Cox. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Cox in 1993. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren. Joe retired after working for Hiland Dairy for 27 years. Graveside services for Joe in Rivermonte Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
