Married Gabriel Willis Burgess 23/Jun/1960 at West Plains, MO. ~~~~~ Margaret Louise Burgess, 60 of West Plains, died today, Wednesday 21, at her home. She was born March 18, 1941 at West Plains, the daughter of Alvin Edward Foth, Sr. and Marie Louise (Kokes) Foth. She received her education in the schools of West Plains. On June 25, 1960 she was married at West Plains to G.W. Burgess. Mrs. Burgess was a devoted caregiver to the elderly. She was a loving wife and mother, and adored her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, nature, pets, and taking pictures. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, G.W. Burgess of the family home; two children, Melinda King and husband, Joe of West Plains, MO; and Bruce Burgess of Alton, MO; five grandchildren; one aunt, Agnes Foth of Aurora, CO; several cousins; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many friends, including her last employers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, one brother, Alvin Froth, Jr.; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law. Funeral services will be Friday, March 23, 2001 in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
