She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Kloster) Richart, she was born April 26, 1899, near Petersburg. She attended St. John's School in Petersburg and then worked as a seamstress, making dresses and doing alterations at her shop in Elgin. On Oct. 26, 1948, she and Nicholas Weiler were married at Elgin. The couple lived in Neligh where her husband worked for the Soil Conservation Service. Mrs. Weiler continued to sew and do alterations. After her husband died in 1983, she continued to live in her own home until moving to an apartment at the Pioneer Homes. Mrs Weiler entered the Neligh Nursing Center in 2002." She was survived by a sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and one sister.
