Elizabeth Ann "Betty" DeCamp passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Neligh, Nebraska. Betty, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Kloster) Richart, was born on May 22, 1907 at Petersburg, Nebraska. Betty attended school at Raeville, Nebraska. On October 24, 1942 she was united in marriage to William J. "Bill" Reuss at Elgin, Nebraska. Bill served in World War II where he lost his life in action. She continued to live in Elgin, Nebraska and started a seamstress shop. On February 18, 1958 she was united in marriage to Marcus A. DeCamp at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Beatrice, Nebraska. They lived in Neligh, Nebraska before moving to Fremont, Nebraska. From there they moved to South Dakota, North Dakota and Wyoming. After he retired they returned to Neligh, Nebraska in 1983. Betty was member of the VFW Auxiliary Unit 5816 and "Betty's Club". St. Francis Catholic Church, Rosary Solidarity, and church quilting club. Betty is survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: parents; both husbands; sisters, Ella Weiler and Leona Scholl; brothers, Frank, John and Henry Richart. Interment was in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Neligh, Nebraska.
