February 20, 1943 - February 28, 2016 Mary Ann Dennis Mayo Mary Ann Dennis, 73 of Waco passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 peacefully at her home. Mary Ann was born February 20, 1943 in Waco, to Oscar Lee and Wilma Bertha Prasifka Dennis. She attended the LaVega schools and spent most of her adult years in the Fort Worth area before returning back to the Waco area in 2010. Coming home and reconnecting with her classmates brought her great joy. She was a woman of many talents and shared those talents with family and friends. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents Oscar Lee and Wilma Dennis; husbands, Wesley Wilson and Howard Mayo. She is survived by her son, Robert Wilson and wife Brandy; granddaughter Brandy; sisters Margie Bottoms, Betty Catchings and husband James,Shirley Doss and husband Butch, Theresa Campbell; and brother Robert Dennis and wife Linda; many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to niece Cristy Polk and nephew Scotti Doss for their love and care of their Aunt Mary Ann. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Providence Hospice and Visiting Angles. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to either of these organizations. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Bellmead Funeral Home. BFH
