Bio
The son of Albert Jeffers & Ellen Gravina Allen Jeffers . Earl was born and raised in Council Bluffs Iowa. He married Mary Elizabeth Myrtle Orr May 30, 1914 in Omaha, Nebraska. They had 15 children & 70 grandchildren. We are still counting the great grandchildrn. Earl worked at a grain elevator in Council Bluffs. The family moved a quite a few times around the city of council Bluffs until they settled on a ten acre farm left to him after the death of his mother Ellen Jeffers in 1933. Here he still worked at the grain elevator and he could farm enough to feed this large family. By 1951 most of his children had moved to California, so Earl & Myrtle move to Lomita, Ca. to be near his children. He worked at National Supply Co. in Lomita, CA. Earl & Myrtle were married 52 years when he passed on May 23, 1966. After Earl's death Myrtle lived alone another 28 years. She lived to be 99 years old. She passed on July 30, 1994.
