Mrs. George was born in Greenville on June 10, 1910, to Frank and Bessie Horton. Mrs. George and her devoted husband, W. Tee George, (deceased) spent most of their life in Greenville. Mrs. George is survived by two daughters, Mary Anne and her husband Vernon Glossup of Chandler, Ariz. and Becky and her husband Ernie Warren of Lone Oak. In addition, she is survived by four grandchildren, Beth Armstrong of Phoenix, Ariz., Amy Blankenship of League City, Elaine Harrington of Carrollton, David Warren of Hurst, and by five great-grandchildren, Austin Blankenship, Tyler and Ashlee Harrington and Billy and Debbie Warren. She is also survived by one sister, Mary Robinson of Jacobia. Anne and Tee George retired at Lake Tawakoni where they were members of the First Christian Church of Lone Oak. Prior to their move from Greenville, they were longtime members of Central Christian Church of Greenville. Anne George remained active almost until the end of her life. During her last years she did a little swimming, visited the Grand Canyon, and made trips to Reno and Gallup, N.M., with friends, Jessi Colter and Waylon Jennings. Anne had grace, beauty, humor and intelligence. She will be missed by all those who loved her. Visitation is at Peters Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Forest Park Cemetery with Rev. Danny Calk officiating.
