Bio
Stephen Bruce Cox, age 58, of Rowlett TX, passed away 8/10/06, after a long illness. Steve was born 11/26/47, in Lufkin TX to Troy Lee Cox and Juanita Bridwell. An Eagle Scout, accomplished song writer, and Vietnam Veteran, Steve will be remembered for his selfless, kind and giving spirit. All who knew "Buster" realized that he was a dedicated family man who shared his smile with friends and family whether he was at work or in the great outdoors he loved. Steve was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Joy Deen Hamilton. He is survived by his wife of 21 yrs, Cecelia "Sissie" McNally Cox; sons, Shane Austin Cox and Matthew Clayton Cox; mother, Juanita Bridwell; sisters, Charmaine Garner, Leslie Ann Carpenter, Danita Gaudette and Ellen Trantham; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was greatly respected and loved, and will be truly missed.
