March 17, 1921 - February 22, 2016 Rosie A. Bacak, age 94 passed away in Ennis on February 22, 2016. She was born on March 17, 1921 to Frank and Frances (Valek) Zapletal. She was a retired seamstress from Donovan Galvani, member of Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Altar Society, and WFLA in Dallas. She was a loving mother and grandmother; her retired life was her family and cooking. Rosie is survived by her children, Marguerite Gammon and husband Steven, Edward Bacak and wife Sandra, Frankie Bacak and wife Bonnie; grandchildren, Cynthia Liska and husband Todd, Scott Bacak and wife Melinda, Chris Gammon and wife Inez, Richard Gammon and wife Gina, Cheryl Gammon, Victoria Gammon and Ethan Gammon; great grandchildren, Lane Liska, Liv Liska, Savanna Bacak, Seth Bacak, Hillary Gammon, and Bradley Gammon; numerous nieces and nephews, extended and adopted family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ignac Bacak; parents, Frank and Frances Zapletal; and siblings. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. with a Rosary at 7 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Ennis.
