"Mrs. Edith A. St. Clair, 72, died at 10 o'clock last night at her home, six and one-half miles northeast of Chillicothe, where she had resided since 1917. She had been seriously ill the last three months. She was born in Taylor, County, Ia., January 20, 1878, daughter of Sam and Ann Barton Harley. She attended the rural schools of that county. She was married December 24, 1902, to Nova St. Clair and moved to the present home in March 1917. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Surviving are a daughter, Jennie St. Clair of Chillicothe; a son, Bryan St. Clair of St Louis; three sisters, Jennie Harley of Los Angeles, Eva Robinson of Kansas City and Anna Harley, also of Kansas City; and three brothers, David Harley of Chillicothe, S.J. Harley of Santa Ana, Calif., and Bert Harley of Marion, Ind. Mr. St. Clair died in 1922. She was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the chapel of the Gordon Home for Funerals conducted by the Rev. James A. McNeilly. Burial will be in the May Cemetery."
