Bio
Richard Jecmenek died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 in a Temple hospital. He was 69 years old. Rev. Will Passmore officiating at the funeral. Richard Jecmenek was born in Cameron. He lived in Seaton and Rogers all of his life. He attended school in Seaton and graduated from Rogers High School in 1965. He married Anita Coleman and they were married for forty eight years. He worked for Wood Arts in Temple and was maintenance superintendent for Rogers Schools for 25 years having retired in 2010. He served on the Rogers City Council, was a member of SPJST in Seaton and a member of the First Baptist Church in Rogers. He was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Jecmenek, on June 18, 1989. Survivors include his wife, a daughter, a brother and grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Rogers Memorial Scholarship Fund.
