Married Nov 15 1906 Omaha, Douglas, NE ----------------------------------------------- Mrs. Peter Darges Dies Wed. Morning Funeral services are being arranged by the Hastings-Pearson mortuary for Mrs. Peter Darges, 72, who died suddenly Wednesday morning, Jan. 9. Mrs. Darges, the former Mary Vavra, was a pioneer of Valley county, and had spent her entire life here. She and her husband were runners-up for the Jubilee king and queen elected for the celebration held in Ord last July. Mrs. Darges was born to Matt and Mary Vavra, Feb. 24, 1885. Her survivors include her husband, Peter; two sons, William and Emil, all of Ord; four brothers, Joe, Washington state; Lloyd and William, Ord, and George, Grand Island, three sisters, Mrs. Antonia Andersen, Jacksonville, Fla; Mrs. Rose Suppose, New Raymer, Colo.; Mrs. Annie Marks, Denver.
