Bio

Glenda Gale Reed of Valley View passed away on February 10, 2016 in her home at the age of 67. Born on February 25, 1948, she was the daughter of Samuel Emmett and Mary Ethel Lucille (George) Enlow. On May 8, 1964, she married Larry Brent Reed in Gribble Springs and lived in Sanger until they made their home in Valley View where they raised their children. Glenda was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Sanger and worked for the Gainesville State School for thirteen and one half years. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Angela Treion Reed and Gaila Kaye Reed, and a brother, Mark Enlow. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry of Valley View, a daughter, Lisa Harris and husband Dwayne of Valley View, one sister Brenda Hart of Midlothian, a brother Sammy Enlow of Thackerville, two grandchildren, Crystal Cartwright and Taylor Harris, and six great-grandchildren.
