The Oregonian, Portland, OR September 17, 1979 Page A15, Col. 3 Gladys Slawik Gladys M. Slawik of Tualatin died Friday in a Reno, Nev., hospital. She was 68. Mrs. Slawik was born in Boneita Springs, SD, and had lived in Tualatin for 12 years. She is survived by her husband John V.; a daughter, Mrs. Gene Pond, Reno; a son, Jon V. of Tualatin; sisters Velma Tolrude, Eastsound, Wash., and Mrs. Frank Pouder, Woodland, Wash.; brothers, Loren Doyle of Troutdale, Dale Doyle of Vancouver, Wash., and Robert Doyle of Casper, Wyo.; and four grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10:30 am Wednesday in Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home in Vancouver, Wash. Interment will follow in Park Hill Cemetery.
