Bio

Donald was the son of Isaac and Emma Lysinger. He was educated in Nebraska schools, graduating from Sargent High School in 1927. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. On June 12, 1932 he married Zoe Geraldine Orvis at Taylor, Nebraska. They were the parents of three sons. He owned Don's Chevron station in Fruitland from 1950 to 1961, then operated a small engine repair business in Fruitland. He loved flying and earned his private pilot's license at the age of 55. A complete obituary can be found in the Idaho Statesman, Tuesday, December 8, 1987.
