Bernard "Butch" Vyhlidal died Sunday, Nov. 21 at Lincoln. He was born June 6, 1932 to Joel and Cora (Heller) Vyhlidal in Pierce county. He was married on Jan. 29, 1952 to Delma Weich at Zion East Lutheran Church, rural Hoskins. He was survived by his wife, 1 daughter, 2 step daughters, 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 sister-in-law He was the son of Joel E. and Cora (Heller) Vyhlidal. "He served in the Army during the Korean War from April 20, 1953 to April 7, 1955, stationed in Louisiana and Fort Riley." He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dale in infancy, one sister Jean, two brothers--n-law, one sister-in-law, and a great-niece.
