Bio
He was the son of Othmar and Lena (Brandl) Gilsdorf. "He farmed with his father until being drafted into the U.S. Army in 1951. He served in Korea and Japan. He received his discharge in March 1953 after obtaining the rank of sergeant. He married Marian Lawson on Oct. 5, 1957, at Yankton, S.D." He was survived by his wife, 3 sons, 1 daughter, 10 grandchildren, 5 brothers,and 3 sisters.
